Final Editing

We did our best editing this piece, although I'm still not completely satisfied with it. However, now we have good music which perfectly matches and creates an atmosphere. I think without it, the sequence would look absolutely differently - much worse. We added a horrific sound of cracking neck. Although it's horrific, it was a great fun to edit it, because it looked so unnatural, but I think it works pretty well.
And we also added titles. Some of them are combination of names of distinguishing people of the film industry in particular field, e.g. editor "Thelma Baxter" - Thelma Schoonmaker ("Wolf of Wall Street") and Kirk Baxter ("The Curious Case of Benjamin Button").
Anyway, I think we're done and ready to show it. Yeah!!!

Editing #3

The editing of the piece comes closer to the end. We need to add a proper sound and hopefully, some music on  the background. We tried to synchronize the sound on this lesson. The walking was quite hard though taking in the consideration that the sound we recorded delibarately after shooting didn't match the steps of the girl in the image. So we decided to use the intial of steps, which desperately lacked quality. So we tried not to focus attention on this bit and I hope you just won't notice. Now we need only music and titles.

Editing #2

We started to edit our sequence by putting all the shots in order we needed, roughly cutting them. The primary aim was to see how everything looks like, what should we change about the position of the shots. Some of them didn't match, so we needed to change their position. But all in all, it looked pretty well. And on the second lesson we put together about a thrid of the sequence. We din't have to use all the shots we did, however, sometimes it was hard to resist the temptation include a shot in the sequence just because we filmed it and it ws quite beautiful. But we managed to resist it and left only shots we needed.

Editing #1

We didn't use Final Cut Pro since our preliminary task. That means that we almost forgot how to use it. So some part of the first editing lesson we spent to re-acquaint ourselves with the program. In fact, during our first lesson we didn't manage to do any actual editing, but re-watched and gave name to every shot in order to edit much faster in the future. We created several bins and put all the shots of the girl that we like in one of them, shots of a businessman in another one and shots we didn't like at all remained in the separate bin.
